My name is David Kay and I'm the host and creator of "Brooklyn Blowback." I am fascinated with different ways of telling stories and usually my shows combine picture books, fairy tales, actors, puppets and musical interludes. In the past we've re-interpreted "The Emperor's New Clothes" by Hans Christian Anderson, "The Little Engine That Could" by Watty Piper, "Whitewash" by Ntozake Shange and "Billy and the Moonbird" by Anne Havens. Each of these projects has taught me important lessons about conveying stories and ideas in concrete and abstract ways.
I invite you and your family to check out the next episode of "Brooklyn Blowback" airing on BCAT Channels 34 & 67.
